James W. Michaels, age 66, of Marcellus, MI passed away at home Tuesday morning, August 12, 2014.
He was born September 22, 1947 in Pennsylvania, the son of Roy and Pearl (McMasters) Michaels. On November 1, 1964 in Buras, Louisana he married Judy C. McLeod who survives.
Surviving besides his wife Judy are three daughters, Sandy (Bill) Riffe of Pennsylvania, Melody (Rob) Wright of Cassopolis, MI and Pamela (Adam) Mlynarek of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI; four sisters, Dianne (George) Day, Shirley Michaels both of Pennsylvania, Barbara (Fred) Springman of Ohio and Carol (Mike) Shidler of Goshen, IN; one brother, Howard (Deborah) Welch of Jackson, MS; six grandchildren, Behn Riffe, Lindsey, Victoria and Alyssa Wright and Jamison and Adison Mlynarek.
Private family services were held. Arrangements were handled by the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus. Memorials may be directed to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. Online condolences may be left at www.materralstonfuneralhome.com
