Frances M. Norton, age 93, of Marcellus, MI passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in the Cass County Medical Care Facility, Cassopolis, MI
She was born February 11, 1921 in Marcellus, MI. On June 3, 1942 she married Harry M. Norton who preceded her in death in 1997.
She was a member of the Marcellus V.F.W. Post No. 4054 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Wakelee United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and being at the lake. She was a lifetime learner at Glen Oaks Community College.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Norton of Marcellus and John Norton of Niles, MI; one sister, Wanda Mikel; four brothers, Lyle (Rosie) Mikel, Cleo Mikel, Robert (Cindy) Mikel and Ron Mikel; five grandchildren, Erica, Zachary, Michael, Kyle and Lindsay and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, two brothers and two sisters.
No services are scheduled and interment will be at Little Fish Lake Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Wakelee United Methodist Church. Arrangements handled by the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus, MI. Online condolences may be left at www.materralstonfuneralhome.com
