Elvis “Red” O’Neill age 82, of Marcellus, MI passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at home.
He was born February 13, 1934 in Kennett, Missouri, the son of Rothert and Edna P. (Kemper) O’Neill. On June 30, 1964 he married Shirley Copas who preceded him in death on May 8, 2011.
Red was a logger all of his life. He loved the outdoors, fishing, being in the woods, logging and music.
Surviving are two daughters, Laura Ann O’Neill of Marcellus and Levina (Jim) Watts; four sons, Elvis O’Neill, Jr .of Florida, Kenny O’Neill, Terry O’Neill and Eric O’Neill all of Marcellus and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherri K. Palmer and infant son, Richard O’Neill
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM Tuesday, February, 23, 2016 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus. Funeral services will follow at 6 PM.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Marcellus Community School Band Program.
