Betty Jane Schten, age 92, of Marcellus, Michigan passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, in Lawton.

She was born in Marcellus, Michigan on January 24, 1928 the daughter of Valentine W. and Nona Belle (Maillat) Beadle.

On November 13, 1948, in Marcellus, Michigan she married Donald R. Schten who preceded her in death August 4, 1995.

Betty was a graduate of the Marcellus High School, a member of the Marcellus United Methodist Church and worked for a time in the hot lunch program of the Marcellus Community Schools. She also was employed at the Cree Ford dealer & Cree Coaches.

Betty is survived by three sons Jimmy R. (Cindy) Schten, Danny L. Schten, Gary A. (Linda) Schten all of Marcellus, Michigan; three grandsons Todd, Colin and Kyle Schten; one sister, Teresa Wasson of Traverse City, Michigan; a brother-in-law Roger Swartz of Marcellus, and a sister-in-law Janet Beadle of Florida

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Schten; two brothers Eugene F. Beadle and Henry Beadle, and one sister Sharla Swartz.

Private Funeral services and burial will be held at Marcellus Cemetery, with Pastor Andy Abrams of the Marcellus United Methodist Church officiating.
