Mary Lou Danzy

Mary Lou (Manning )Danzy, age 62, of Marcellus, MI, passed away early Friday morning, May 04, 2018, in the comfort of her own home. Mary was born May 24, 1955, in Three Rivers, MI, the daughter of Lyle and Mildred (Hartman) Manning. On August 5, 1993, she married John E. Danzy in Volinia, MI; they were married for twenty-four years.
Mary completed nursing school at Southwestern Michigan College and continued her education at Western Michigan University for her Bachelor’s in Social Work. Mary worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She enjoyed the great outdoors and staying busy whether it was fishing, camping, knitting, listening to music, gardening in her flower garden, or never missing the Kentucky Derby of which she was a fan.
Mary is survived by her husband John E. Danzy, two sisters: Phyllis (Lynn) Howe of Jones and Delilah (John) Hoard of Kalamazoo, and one brother: Gary (Carol) Manning of Vandalia, and several nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Midred Manning.
